On August 22, Ambassador Dr. Mohammad Javed Patwari BPM (Bar) took charge of Bangladesh Embassy in Saudi Arabia.

Javed Patwari said, the expatriate service center has been opened to easily deliver consular services of the embassy to the doorsteps of expatriates living in different parts of Saudi Arabia. Where expatriates can easily receive all other consular services including passport renewal.
He said that the embassy is always active in facilitating service delivery and bringing transparency. He welcomed any suggestions from the diaspora to modernize the embassy's services.
Ambassador said. Mohammad Javed Patwari expressed sincere thanks to the Custodians of the Two Holy Mosques, Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for their magnanimity.
Ambassador Dr. Mohammad Javed Patwari urged expatriates to follow all hygiene rules to prevent the spread of coronavirus. He advised the expatriates to abide by all the laws and regulations of the Saudi government.
The country's image is tarnished abroad and urged to refrain from such actions. He mentioned the embassy's provision of emergency assistance and medical advice to expatriates during the coronavirus outbreak.
