Alikadam, Bandarban (Representative): The 18th founding anniversary of the twenty-three units of the Bangladesh Army was celebrated in a colorful ceremony at Alikadam.
Today Wednesday (February 16) at 1 pm, an informal ceremony and party was organized at the Alikadam Army Zone office. The program begins with the recitation of the Qur'an. Bandarban 69 Infantry Brigade Commander Brigadier General Md. was the chief guest of the event. Ziaul Haque (NDC, AFW, PSC) inaugurated the event by cutting an 18-pound cake.
Later, top government officials of Alikadam and Lama, heads of various law enforcement agencies, public representatives, political leaders, journalists, representatives of various development organizations and civil society leaders participated in the banquet.
97 Infantry Brigade Commander Brigadier General Mashroor Hossain Bhuiyan, Alikadam Army Zone Zone Commander Lt. Col. Md. Manjurul Hasan, PBGM, PSC, Lama Upazila Vice Chairman Md. Zaheed Uddin, along with Divisional Forest Officer of Lama Forest Division Ariful Haque Belal were present as special guests. etc.
Chief Guest Bandarban 69 Infantry Brigade Commander Brigadier General Md. Ziaul Haque (NDC, AFW, PSC) said, development is not sustainable without security. No hostile force opposing the Mountain Peace Treaty will be spared. No terrorist activities and extortion will be accepted in the hills. If necessary, "the army will allow the chest to face the enemy's bullets to protect the people".

Brigadier General Md. Ziaul Haque condoled the death of Senior Warrant Officer Md. Habibur Rahman, who was killed in a gunfight with terrorists in Ruma Upazila of Bandarban. He urged everyone to be patriotic.
At the end of the reception, Brigadier General Md Ziaul Haque met with the top officials of Alikadam Lama, political leaders, public representatives, journalists and representatives of civil society for an exchange of views and tea.
