America leaked a secret message of the State Department's discussion with the officials of the US Embassy in China to strengthen the claim that the corona virus was spread from the laboratory in Wuhan. It is known from that message that in 2018, the US Embassy raised questions about the manpower of that lab in China.
This leaked message does not prove that the Wuhan lab originated from the coronavirus. Again, this message does not rule out the possibility of that. Earlier, scientists from that lab in Wuhan also claimed that they were researching the bat coronavirus. However, their similarity with the Covid-19 virus is about 20 percent less.
Tom Inglesby, head of the Center for Health Security at Johns Hopkins University, said the suspicions raised about the lab by the message cannot be confirmed or dismissed. Inglesby said that it was written in January 2018. Corona has not started yet. A lot of changes can happen in that lab during this time.
Ian Lipkin, director of Columbia University's Center for Infection and Immunity, said of the leaked message from the US embassy, "I don't see any evidence to support this idea." You can't just say that the virus spread by accident.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo claimed that China has deleted all data related to the Corona issue. He also called on China to be more transparent on this issue.
