As time goes on, the situation is getting more dire. The previous record of infections in a day was on Thursday. On that day, 9 thousand 843 people were diagnosed with coronavirus. That record was broken on Saturday.

According to the Ministry of Health of France, 2 thousand 432 people were newly admitted to the hospital due to corona infection during the last week.

Among them, 417 people had to be kept in ICU due to critical condition. 30 thousand 910 people have died so far including 17 people in the last 24 hours. The total number of infected has increased to 3 lakh 73 thousand 911 people.

The administration's top officials have already met with health experts to decide what measures can be taken to deal with the situation.
