Bahrain has agreed to normalize the latest relations with Israel.
The United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Israel said in a joint statement that the agreement was reached after US President Donald Trump spoke with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
Trump thinks that this agreement to normalize relations between Israel and the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain is historic.
Bahrain is the fourth Arab country after Egypt, Jordan and the United Arab Emirates to sign such an agreement with Israel. Various countries have expressed their position regarding this agreement.
Palestine has strongly condemned Bahrain's agreement with Israel. The agreement has also been compared to a stabbing of the Palestinian people.
UAE welcomes Israel-Bahrain relations agreement The Emirates believes that this agreement will have a positive impact on peace and cooperation in the Middle East and globally.
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi said that the important steps taken by Israel and Bahrain in establishing diplomatic relations deserve praise.
Iran, however, believes that the deal made Bahrain complicit in Israel's crimes. Iran's Foreign Ministry said in a statement, "From now on, the rulers of Bahrain will be partners in the crimes of the Jews as a constant threat to the region and Islam."
Strongly condemning Bahrain's decision to establish diplomatic relations with Israel, Turkey's Foreign Ministry said the Palestinians would face new injuries as a result of the decision.
