Efforts to ban RAB operations in the United States and the United Kingdom have failed, despite the recruitment of powerful lobbyists.
In the meantime, an application for a ban on the Rapid Action Battalion-RAB was filed in the United Kingdom.
Recently, a person named "Tasneem Khalil" brought up the issue of sanctioning the activities of RAB and Bangladesh in the European Union. However, he failed to present the desired evidence in that discussion.
Notably, the United States is currently providing training to the RAB on counter-intelligence and counter-terrorism. At the same time, cooperation between the two sides is increasing in several areas, including artificial intelligence.
In addition to the policy decision not to ban the UK RAB, the lobbyist has been warned against making any further allegations without supporting evidence, and at the same time the RAB and the Bangladeshi government have warned individuals concerned about these so-called lobbyists to seek legal action and necessary compensation for false allegations and defamation of Bangladesh. It recommended an appeal to the UK court.
On the other hand, the UN has not given any response to the demand of not taking RAB to various missions to establish world peace.
