In a strict lockdown, everything except emergency services will be closed. However, due to the end of the financial year, financial institutions and some offices related to the National Board of Revenue and Accounts will be kept open on a limited scale, said State Minister for Public Administration Farhad Hossain.
State Minister for Public Administration Farhad Hossain said a strict lockdown has been imposed for one week from June 28 to prevent infection. All public and private offices and public transport will remain closed during the strict lockdown.
However, as the fiscal year ends, some offices will remain open, the state minister for public administration said, "our fiscal year is ending." Accounts Section, NBR related offices will remain open on a limited basis.
In addition, it is known that the activities will continue in some branches of some ministries and departments in emergency services.
A strict lockdown will be observed across the country for seven days from next Monday to prevent the spread of Covid-19. A more detailed order in this regard will be issued from the Cabinet Division on Saturday.
