The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved a loan of 7,990 crores (940 million US dollars) to Bangladesh for the purchase of corona vaccines.
This information was informed in a press release on behalf of the organization on Wednesday (June 23). It has been said that Bangladesh will be able to buy about 4 crore 47 lakh (44.7 million) doses of vaccine with the approved loan.
ADB President Masatusugu Asakawa said in this regard, vaccination can prevent the spread of corona, save people's lives and reduce the negative impact on the economy.
This is ADB's ongoing project to help Bangladesh recover from Corona and restore momentum to the economy.
