On the second day, 541 more people were vaccinated against coronavirus in five hospitals in Dhaka.
Four booths were administered at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University, four at Dhaka Medical College Hospital, four at Mugda Medical College Hospital, four at Kurmitola General Hospital and one booth at Kuwait-Bangladesh Friendship Hospital.
Director General of the Department of Health Professor Dr. ABM Khurshid Alam said that the application of vaccination on the health workers of these hospitals started from 9 am on Thursday.
Work started in the morning with the goal of vaccinating 500 health workers in five hospitals, but in the end 541 people were vaccinated.
On this day, Minister of State for Cultural Affairs KM Khalid MP took the vaccine to motivate and inspire common people to take the vaccine of Covid-19 and to prevent rumors and propaganda related to vaccination. He was the second member of the cabinet to take the coronavirus vaccine.
Before this, ICT State Minister Junaid Ahmed Palak took vaccination around 11:15. He is the first Member of Parliament and Minister of State in the country, who received the vaccine.
About the feeling of his vaccination, KM Khalid said, it feels good. But I don't feel anything special. It is like any other common vaccine.
