Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader has urged students and parents to be patient, saying that educational institutions will be opened only when the environment is favorable.
The Minister of Bridges made this call in the speech of the chief guest through video conference from the official residence in the discussion meeting organized by poet Kazi Nazrul Islam University on the occasion of National Mourning Day at Trishal, Mymensingh on Saturday.
Urging the students to realize the fact that education is not for livelihood, but for life, he said, taking into consideration the overall situation, educational institutions will be opened once the environment is favorable.
The general secretary of Awami League, referring to the new horizon of golden achievements, said that the BNP government cannot see the brave and good initiatives of the BNP government because of the dense fog of negative politics in their vision.
He also commented that they see the darkness of the new moon on the night of the full moon, and sometimes sigh in deep despair.
