IGP today (November 02, 2021) cut the ribbon and officially inaugurated Paulmart at 11:30 am. Later he visited its various parts. Additional IGs, DIGs and other officials of Police Headquarters were present on the occasion.
Highlighting the need and relevance of Paulmart, Additional DIG (Administration) of Police Headquarters, Md. Masudur Rahman said, the present IGP has taken multifaceted steps for the welfare of policemen. Paulmart was launched under his guidance. Police officers and members have to be busy for a long time in fulfilling their duties for the welfare of the country and people. As a result, it is not possible for many of them to buy family essential quality products on time. A state-of-the-art shopping complex called Paulmart has been launched at Police Headquarters so that they can buy quality products at low prices under one roof.
He mentioned that the policemen will be able to buy quality products at an affordable price on the one hand, and on the other hand will save their time.
POLMART offers food items, daily essentials, cosmetics and other quality products at prices below the maximum retail price (MRP) of the product in a large scale pleasant environment on the ground floor of the police headquarters' facilities building. POLMART will be open daily from 8 AM to 9 PM.
