Md. Moshiur Rahman Bipul, Kurigram district representative: In recognition of the unique contribution to the development and expansion of the Scout Movement, the Minister of State for Primary and Mass Education Md. Zakir Hossain has been awarded the highest award of Bangladesh Scouts 'Silver Tiger'.
Next Monday (June 27) at 5 pm at Bangabandhu International Conference Center in the 50th Annual General Meeting of Bangladesh Scouts President and Chief Scouts Md. Abdul Hamid will give the medal. Chief National Commissioner of the organization. Md. Mozammel Haque informed the state minister through a letter last Sunday (June 19) about giving the medal.
Responding to receiving the medal, the state minister said that the scout movement plays a huge role in creating discipline, duty, patriotism, and harmony among children. So to acquire these qualities among children the scout movement should be spread everywhere. For this purpose, the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education is taking and implementing effective measures.
He expressed his sincere thanks and gratitude to Bangladesh Scouts for giving the medal. Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education Aminul Islam Khan has congratulated and congratulated the State Minister on achieving the highest medal of the Scouts.
