During the lockdown, ride sharing app Uber, Pathao and other apps have stopped their services

Due to the lockdown announced by the government to prevent the spread of coronavirus, ride sharing apps Uber, Pathao and other apps have stopped their services.

Ride sharing apps have also stopped their services soon after the lockdown was announced. However, Sahaj's ride sharing was off for quite some time.

In a statement sent to the media on Monday (June 28), the Pathao authority announced the suspension of the service. However, even though the service has been stopped, Uber has not officially announced anything.
Pathao's statement said that they have stopped the service since June 28.

According to the notification sent to the media from Pathao, the ride sharing activities of 'Pathao' will be suspended for a limited time as per the instructions issued by BRTA during the ongoing lockdown.

However, other business services of Pathao Digital will continue to operate during this period. The company has expressed its regret to the customers, well-wishers and related parties for this temporary inconvenience.

The organization also called for strict adherence to the hygiene rules prescribed by the government to deal with the coronavirus.

Meanwhile, nothing is officially known about whether Uber has been closed. However, after entering the app, it was found that the service of motorbikes and private cars has been stopped.

Uber has always followed the government's directives regarding the lockdown. That's why they stopped the service without prior announcement.

Sahaj Ride authorities have stopped their ride sharing for quite some time to protect the health of the passengers during the Corona period. Sahaj will launch their ride-sharing service if the country's corona situation improves, according to the public relations department of the company.
