But it can increase at any time. We are hoping that if the lockdown is successful in the seven districts around Dhaka and if we can control the movement of people, there will be no need for lockdown in the capital or the entire country.
We are currently looking at the infection situation of seven districts surrounding Dhaka. If we cannot control them and the situation in Dhaka is critical, measures will be taken to lock down Dhaka initially.
A notification has been issued announcing a lockdown in Manikganj, Narayanganj, Munshiganj, Gazipur, Madaripur, Rajbari and Gopalganj near Dhaka from Tuesday to June 30. As a result, no public transport from these areas is able to enter Dhaka.
