The cries of the relatives of the victims of the terrible fire at Hasem Food Factory in Rupganj, Narayanganj, are not stopping. Many workers are still missing. Relatives have taken position in front of the factory since morning in search of them. The atmosphere of the factory has become heavy with the cries of the relatives.
The fire that broke out on Thursday afternoon has not yet been brought under control. 18 fire service units are working under control. The relatives complained that the fire occurred in the factory due to the negligence of the factory authorities. Moreover, even after the fire broke out in the factory, the workers could not get out because the factory authorities did not open the lock of the Kechi gate.
Osman Gani, senior station officer of Demra Fire Service, told the media that we have been working tirelessly since the beginning of the fire. But the situation seems a bit complicated in the six-storey building of the factory. Efforts are underway to control and extinguish the fire.
Meanwhile, fire service personnel are looking for more bodies inside. After a long period of time, only the bones and skeletons of the bodies of the dead have been burnt. The bodies were just bones. The fire service workers were shocked while recovering the body. Many people cried after seeing this body. However, the bodies were taken out in bags from inside the factory. No one outside was allowed to see this picture of the dead body.
On Thursday (July 8) around 5:30 pm, a fire broke out in the factory of Hashem Food and Beverage Limited of Sajib Group in Rupganj, Narayanganj. Another 49 bodies were recovered from the rubble after the fire. With this, the death toll in the fire rose to 52.
