Earlier on Monday (July 12) 220 people died. A record 230 people died on Sunday (July 11). Before that, 185 people died on Saturday, 212 on Friday and 199 on Thursday. On July 7, the death toll in the country crossed 200 for the first time. 201 people died on this day.
In the last 24 hours, 41 thousand 755 samples have been tested in 627 labs of the country. According to the test, the detection rate is 29.31 percent. The total detection rate is 14.48 percent. 7 thousand 646 people have recovered in the last 24 hours. So far 8 lakh 89 thousand 167 people have recovered. The recovery rate is 84.91 percent.
Among those who died in the last 24 hours, 61 people were from Dhaka division. Apart from this, 53 died in Khulna, 30 in Chittagong, 27 in Rajshahi, 5 in Barisal, 5 in Sylhet, 15 in Rangpur and 7 in Mymensingh.
