In the last 24 hours, 203 people have died due to corona in the country. With this, a total of 16 thousand 842 people died in the country. During this time, 12 thousand 198 people were infected with corona. With this, a total of 10 lakh 47 thousand 155 people have been infected with corona in the country.

This information has been reported in the regular press release on Corona issue sent by the Health Department on Tuesday (July 13).

Earlier on Monday (July 12) 220 people died. A record 230 people died on Sunday (July 11). Before that, 185 people died on Saturday, 212 on Friday and 199 on Thursday. On July 7, the death toll in the country crossed 200 for the first time. 201 people died on this day.

In the last 24 hours, 41 thousand 755 samples have been tested in 627 labs of the country. According to the test, the detection rate is 29.31 percent. The total detection rate is 14.48 percent. 7 thousand 646 people have recovered in the last 24 hours. So far 8 lakh 89 thousand 167 people have recovered. The recovery rate is 84.91 percent.

Among those who died in the last 24 hours, 61 people were from Dhaka division. Apart from this, 53 died in Khulna, 30 in Chittagong, 27 in Rajshahi, 5 in Barisal, 5 in Sylhet, 15 in Rangpur and 7 in Mymensingh.
