The body of BNP Standing Committee member and former Law Minister Barrister Maudud Ahmed is scheduled to arrive in Dhaka on a Bangladesh Biman flight early Thursday morning.
He will be buried next to his parents after several rounds of funeral on Friday.
Shayrul Kabir Khan, media wing officer of BNP Chairperson, gave this information on Wednesday.
Shayrul Kabir Khan said, on Friday at 9 am, subject to permission, Maudud Ahmad's funeral will be held at the South Plaza of Jatiya Sangsad.
After the janaza at the High Court premises at 10 am, the janaza will be held at 11 am in front of the central office of BNP in Naya Paltan. The party leaders and workers will participate in the funeral and respect will be paid by the party.
Later, the body will be taken to Noakhali by helicopter. He will be buried next to the grave of his parents in the family crematorium after the Janaza in Basurhat and Companyganj upazila fields.
Maudud Ahmad passed away at Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore at around 7:30 pm on Tuesday.
