After meeting with Khaleda Zia at Gulshan residence in the capital on Sunday (July 10) night, party secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir told reporters that party chairperson Khaleda Zia has ordered BNP to stand by the flood victims.
He told us, you will be with the flood victims until their suffering is alleviated. He thinks that serving the flood victims means serving people.'
Fakhrul said that in Sylhet, Sunamganj, Kishoreganj, Netrakona where people have been inundated by floods, Begum Khaleda Zia has taken the news of the distressed people.
Highlighting the physical condition of Khaleda Zia, Mirza Fakhrul said that although there is no immediate danger, she is still ill.
