Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said that BNP themselves are conspirators and smell of conspiracy everywhere.
The colorful dream that BNP is seeing to create anarchy in the country is just a nightmare. On the contrary, now BNP leaders at all levels are secretly communicating to join Awami League.
He said this at a regular press conference on current affairs at his official residence on Saturday morning.
Obaidul Quader said that BNP is still desperately walking in dark alleys to regain the lost power just as they had found various undemocratic ways to maintain power.
"There is no crisis in BNP with the leadership of Begum Khaleda Zia and Tariq Rahman," he said in response to the statement of BNP leaders.
Obaidul Quader said about the movement of BNP leaders for the realization of people's rights, BNP is threatening the movement when the protection of people is the highest priority in this context of corona epidemic. They are increasingly falling short of people's expectations due to their inability to understand the language of the people's minds and the situation on the ground.
Referring to the politics of BNP, Obaidul Quader said that while in power, the people's rights were being taken away, on the other hand, the politics of Awami League and Sheikh Hasina is to put smiles on the faces of the people of this country by establishing rights.
The people think that the idea of movement without standing by the side of the people's sufferings and the helpless people is a divisive and short-sighted political idea of BNP. BNP's shouts in full monsoon are an attempt to hide the failure of not standing by the people in Corona.
BNP's job is to dispute any achievement of the government and the country, the Minister of Road Transport and Bridges said, they are not in a position to put the responsibility of failure on others. BNP has been trying to mislead people by spreading misinformation and rumors since the beginning of Corona, and is still doing it. No matter how much propaganda BNP does, the people are rational, they are not easily misled.
According to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's promise, the corona vaccine has started arriving in the country. Obaidul Quader said that five million doses of the vaccine have already reached the country. More vaccines will arrive in a few days.
He urged the people to take vaccinations as well as follow hygiene rules to prevent high rate of infection and stay at home during the ongoing lockdown.
Obaidul Quader expressed his sincere thanks to those who cooperated with the government and law enforcement agencies and followed the hygiene rules during the last two days of lockdown.
