Member of Advisory Council of Bangladesh Awami League, former Member of Parliament of Feni-2 Constituency and former General Secretary of Feni District Awami League, brave freedom fighter Zainal Abedin Hazari is no more (Innalillahi wa Inna Ilaihi Rajiun).
Today Monday (December 27) around 5:30 pm, he breathed his last at LabAid Hospital in the capital. Nizam Uddin Hazari, the current Member of Parliament of Feni 2 Constituency, said this.
Zainal Hazari was the General Secretary of Feni District Awami League from 1984 to 2004. Zainal Hazari fled the country on August 17, 2001 during the caretaker government. Zainal Hazari was embroiled in many controversies during his last term as a Member of Parliament. Because of this, he was expelled from the party in 2004.
He was elected as Member of Parliament for three consecutive times in 1986, 1991 and 1996 from Feni-2 (Sadar) Constituency.
