Jatiya Party's main patron Roshan Ershad has been announced as the chairman of the party by Ershad's son Eric. Apart from this, Vidisha Ershad, Saad Ershad has been declared as the co-chairman and Kazi Mamunur Rashid as acting general secretary in the committee.

Roshan Putra made this announcement at a memorial service and prayer ceremony organized at the President's Park in Baridhara on Wednesday. Hussain Muhammad Ershad Trustee Board organized this meeting.
