Bangladeshi recruitment according to Bangladesh law of Facebook

Facebook authorities have appointed an officer for Bangladesh affairs. The Posts and Telecommunications Minister held an online meeting with Facebook's regional headquarters in Singapore on Monday (September 7). The name of this newly appointed officer is Sabhanaz Rashid Dia. Sabhanaz Rashid was present in the meeting.

Sources from the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications say that Dia is Bengali-speaking. Officials of Facebook's Singapore office told them that he would respond quickly to any Bangladesh-related issue and solve the problem.

Facebook Head of Safety Vikram Sengh, Facebook Public Policy Director Ashwini Rana, Facebook's newly appointed Bangladesh Affairs Officer Sabhanaz Rashid Dia and Facebook Mobile Partner Division Iram Iqbal participated in the meeting with the minister.

In this meeting lasting about 3 hours, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's conviction in civil protection prevailed among the discussions on various issues. It was informed in the meeting that a Bangladeshi Bengali speaker has been appointed to look after the Bangladesh section with quick resolution of any existing issues regarding content. The minister thanked Facebook for taking this step as a fruitful initiative.
