Rainfall may continue across the country for the next two days

Rains will continue across the country for the next two days, but the rainfall may increase by the end of the week.

The weather forecast given at 6 pm said that in the next 24 hours light to moderate rain or thunder may occur in many places of Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions.

Day and night temperatures may remain almost unchanged across the country.

According to the weather synoptic, the excess of the monsoon axis extends over Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal and central Bangladesh to Assam.

Monsoon is fairly active over Bangladesh and moderate over North Bay of Bengal.
In the last 24 hours, the maximum temperature was recorded at 35.6 degrees Celsius in Rajshahi and the minimum temperature was recorded at 24.2 degrees Celsius in Rangamati.

During this period, there was significant rainfall of 116 mm in Comilla, 105 mm in Dimla, 55 mm in Sitakund and Cox's Bazar, 53 mm in Teknaf and 43 mm in Dhaka. Sunrise tomorrow in Dhaka is at 5:16 am and sunset is at 6:50 pm.
