Moderate rain or thundershowers in all parts of the country

All parts of the country may experience moderate rain or thundershowers. Apart from this, scattered moderate to heavy rains may occur in some parts of the country.

The weather forecast given at 6 pm on Friday said that there is a possibility of light to moderate rain or thundershower with gusty winds temporarily in some places of Rangpur, Khulna, Barisal and Chittagong divisions and two places each in Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions.

Daytime temperatures may rise slightly across the country while nighttime temperatures may remain almost unchanged, the forecast said. There may be slight changes across the country in the next two days. The extended five-day forecast said rain or thundershowers may increase during this period.

In the last 24 hours, the maximum temperature was recorded at 35.2 degrees Celsius in Ishwardi and the minimum temperature was recorded at 24.5 degrees Celsius in Feni. During this period significant rainfall was recorded in Bhola 55 mm, Teknaf 36 mm, Dimla 19 mm.

According to the weather synoptic, the excess of monsoon axis extends over Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal and central Bangladesh to Assam. Sunrise tomorrow Saturday in Dhaka at 5:13 am and sunset at 6:50 pm.
