The government has extended the admission time for Class XI in the current academic year in public and private colleges by two days.
Although the college admission schedule is scheduled between September 13 and 15, the inter-education board coordination sub-committee has issued a notification extending it to September 17.
Instructions in this regard have been sent to the principals of all higher secondary schools and colleges.
Due to the Covid-19 epidemic, there is no need to submit or accept any kind of documents including academic transcripts, testimonials from the students admitted in class XI for the purpose of following hygiene rules.
In case of improvement of the epidemic, the students should submit the necessary documents including attested academic transcripts, testimonials to the college at a convenient time.
However, the quota students must be admitted to the college subject to submission of appropriate certificate of quota receipt, the notification said.
The online admission process for class 11 in the academic year 2020-2021 starts from 7 am on August 9. The admission process will be completed by September 15.
The third round of applications will be accepted on September 7 and 8. 2nd migration result and 3rd stage application result will be published on September 10 at 8 pm according to preference order.
In the third stage, the selection of the students should be confirmed from September 11 to September 12 at 8 pm. If the selection is not confirmed, the application will be considered canceled and the college-wise final result will be published on September 13 at 8 am.
And according to the extended time, students will get the opportunity to get admission in the college till September 17.
