11 more people have died in the last 24 hours in three hospitals of Khulna due to corona infection and symptoms.
The deceased are six from Khulna Corona Dedicated Hospital, one from Corona Unit of General Hospital and four from Gazi Medical College Hospital.
The death was confirmed by the three hospitals mentioned today, Saturday (July 3).
Khulna Corona Dedicated Hospital Focalperson Dr. Suhas Ranjan Halder said that six people died in the last 24 hours. Currently 213 people are under treatment in the hospital. Among them, 113 people are in red zone, 42 people are in yellow zone, 20 people are in ICU and 20 people are in HDC.
The deceased are Anwara Khatun (32) of Phulbarigate area of Khulna, Najma (44) of Sonadanga, Noor Islam (66) of Rupsar, Subarna (55) of Shyamnagar of Satkhira, Sadar of Jessore. Shariful Islam (42) and Mosharof (63) of Dumuria, Khulna.
The owner of Gazi Medical Hospital Dr. Gazi Mizanur Rahman said that Vivek Kundu (49) of Tartibpur, Fultala, Khulna, Mansura Begum (53) of Darus Salam Mosque Lane, Sonadanga, Abdul Mannan Sardar (60) of Rupsar Rahim Nagar and Awal Shikder (70) of Chitalmari, Bagerhat died while undergoing treatment at the Corona Unit.
120 more people are under treatment in this hospital. Among them, 9 people are in ICU and 10 people are in HDU.
Besides, Khulna General Hospital Corona Unit spokesperson Dr. Kazi Abu Rashed said that a person named Aleya Begum (65) died in the corona unit of the hospital. He is a resident of Barandipara, Jessore. 70 people are under treatment in this hospital. Among them 33 men and 37 women.
