Rasheda Sultana, director of the Divisional Health Directorate, confirmed this information on Monday (July 5). Earlier yesterday Sunday (July 4) maximum 46 people died in Khulna division.
According to sources from the Divisional Health Director's office, the deceased include 13 from Khulna, two from Bagerhat, six from Jessore, one from Magura, five from Jhenaidah, 17 from Kushtia, two from Chuadanga and five from Meherpur.
During this period, 239 people were affected in Khulna, 121 people in Bagerhat, 102 people in Satkhira, 286 people in Jessore, 70 people in Narail, 34 people in Magura, 86 people in Jhenaidah, 292 people in Kushtia, 152 people in Chuadanga and 88 people in Meherpur.
