Saleh Tanvir has joined the post of Commissioner of Chittagong Metropolitan Police

Saleh Mohammad Tanveer joined the post of Commissioner of Chittagong Metropolitan Police on Monday.

Earlier he was serving as Additional Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police.

Newly transferred former commissioner. Mahabubur Rahman officially resigned from CMP on Sunday. And the new commissioner joined on Monday.

Additional Deputy Commissioner of Metropolitan Police (Public Relations) Mirza Sayem Mahmud confirmed. He said that DIG Saleh Mohammad Tanveer took charge as the 30th Commissioner of Chittagong Metropolitan Police on Monday.

At this time he was welcomed with flowers by CMP Additional Commissioner (Administration and Finance) Amena Begum, SM Mostak Ahmed Khan, Shyamal Kumar Nath and other senior officials.

Earlier, Saleh Mohammad Tanveer served as Additional Commissioner of CMP.
