It has been alleged that a student of Jahangirnagar University (JABI) committed suicide. It is reported that he committed suicide by twisting a rope around the neck of a girlfriend in Rajshahi's Boalia at around 12 o'clock on Monday.
The name of the dead student is Fatema Elin Fujii. She was a first year (49th batch) student of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering Department of Jahangirnagar University. His house is in Chiribandar upazila of Dinajpur. It is known that due to family problems, Fatema Elin Fujii went to the mess of one of her girlfriends in the Jadughar Mor area of Boalia police station in Rajshahi. On Tuesday night, the student burst into tears talking about her troubles with one of her friends from the university. Later, it is said that Messei committed suicide by twisting a rope around his neck.
His girlfriend said that Fuji's mother had died. His father remarried. Fuji was very depressed due to family problems with his stepmother and father. She also had a relationship with a boy. Now they are separated. He was very disappointed in both these matters. I talked to him about these issues yesterday.
Mahbub Alam, OC (Investigation) of Boalia Police Station, said that the body has been handed over to the family after post-mortem. And a case of wrongful death has been filed in the police station.
