In the last 24 hours in Jhenaidah, 8 people have died due to corona and corona symptoms. Also, 86 new cases of coronavirus have been detected in the district. On Monday (July 5), Civil Surgeon Dr. Selina Begum confirmed the truth of these facts.
He said that the results of 250 samples tested at Jhenaidah lab came on Monday morning.
Among them, 86 people have come corona positive. With this, the total number of affected patients in the district stood at 4 thousand 790. At present, 57 people are under treatment in hospital due to corona virus.
He also said that in the last 24 hours, 6 people died of corona and 2 people died of symptoms in different upazilas of Jhenaidah. So far, 107 people have died due to corona in the district according to the government.
Among the 6 upazilas of the district, there are 71 people in Sadar, 13 people in Shailkupa, 10 people in Kaliganj, 3 people in Kotchandpur, 5 people in Harinakundu and 5 people in Maheshpur.
