The rate of corona infection is increasing at an alarming rate in Dinajpur. In the last 24 hours, 483 people have been newly infected in the district.
This is the first time that so many people have been diagnosed with corona together in the district. Earlier, on June 17, 275 corona infections were detected in the district which was the highest till then.

In the last 24 hours, samples of 1 thousand two people were tested in Dinajpur district. Of these, 483 samples were found to be corona. As such, the rate of infection is 48.20 percent.
Among them, there are 313 in Dinajpur Sadar Upazila, 48 in Hakimpur, 42 in Birampur, 20 in Bochaganj, 16 in Parbatipur, 10 in Birganj, 10 in Nawabganj, nine in Chirirbandar, seven in Phulbari, five in Biral, two in Khansama and one in Kaharol upazila.
Meanwhile, in the last 24 hours, three people have died in Dinajpur Sadar Upazila due to Corona. With this, a total of 158 people died of corona in the district. And 26 people have died this month due to corona symptoms.
