Renu Akhter, a 70-year-old woman, was going to sell bananas after walking about four miles with a trembling body. There are no people in his village market. So, hoping to sell bananas, he finally went to Barhatta's Gopalpur market, four miles away.

Renu Akter is a resident of Premnagar Chalipura village of Barhatta upazila in Netrakona.

But before reaching Gopalpur market, he was stopped by the police. Officer-in-charge (OC) of the police station at the checkpoint set up due to the ongoing lockdown. Mizanur Rahman faced old woman Renu Akhter. In response to the question, he told the OC about his helplessness. There is no money in the house. no food So he will buy food by selling bananas.

Renu Begum said that the work was also stopped as she could not leave the house. So he is unable to stomach due to lack of food. At last, unable to find a way, he took bananas from the tree of the house and left for the market.

Talking about the poverty of family life, he said, there is one son and one daughter. But they cannot walk on their own, starving. Their lives are miserable. If they could go on their own and then if I didn't provide for them, it would be a pain in the ass. But now it is not. Can't walk on their own.

Meanwhile, after hearing everything, the officer-in-charge said to the helpless old lady Renu Begum, there is no need for you to be outside or sell bananas risking your mother's life. I pay, buy what you need and go home.
