19 people died in 24 hours in six hospitals of Barisal division. Among them, 10 people died with symptoms and 9 people died of corona. At this time, 533 people were diagnosed with corona. Among the dead in the last 24 hours, a total of nine corona patients including three in Barisal district, two in Patuakhali district and four in Barguna district have died. In this, the total number of deaths due to Corona in Barisal Division has reached 365, said the Divisional Health Director Dr. Vasudev Kumar Das.

He said that out of total 24 thousand 96 infected people, 16 thousand 391 people have recovered so far.

In Barisal district, 202 people have been infected with a total of 10 thousand 306 people, Patuakhali district with 47 new people, a total of 3 thousand 20 people, Bhola district with 43 new people, a total of 2 thousand 369 people, Pirojpur district with 48 new people, a total of 3 thousand 337 people, Barguna district has 66 new cases and 2 thousand 43 cases and 127 cases have been detected in Jhalkathi district bringing the total number to 3 thousand 21.

Meanwhile, according to sources from the Shebachim Hospital director's office, in the last 24 hours, 10 people have died with symptoms in the corona isolation ward of Barisal Shebachim Hospital and nine people under treatment in the corona ward. With which 234 people died due to corona in Shebachim Hospital alone and 634 people died due to symptoms in the isolation ward. And out of 634 people who died with symptoms, 44 Covid test reports are still not available.

According to the sources of the hospital director's office, 20 people have been admitted to the corona isolation ward and 17 people to the corona ward of Shebachim in the last 24 hours (Wednesday) morning. 259 people are now under treatment in corona and isolation ward. 90 of them are corona positive and 169 are in isolation. A total of 188 people were tested for corona in the RT PCR lab. Of this, 62.76 percent positive detection rate.
