Boalkhali Representative: Police recovered the strangled body of a student named Iftekhar Malekul Mashfi (7) in a madrasa named Allama Shah Achiur Rahman Hefzkhana of Charandwip Union of Boalkhali Upazila.
Iftekhar Malekul Mashfi is said to be the son of Abdul Malek of Charandeep Fakirakhali Baks Mia Saudagar house.
After the incident, the madrasa authorities locked the madrasa and detained the teachers.
The body was recovered from Charandwip of the upazila at 11:30 am on Saturday (February 5). Earlier on Saturday at 8 am, Imtiaz Malekul Majed, the elder brother of the deceased, gave a status from his Facebook ID saying that his younger brother, who is studying Hafez, is not available. Madrasa Director Shahzada Sheikh Md. Salaullah said that in the morning Mashfi prayed with everyone.
