Boalkhali representative: A young man named Abdul Sattar (29) did not return home after being invited to a wedding ceremony in Chittagong's Boalkhali. 4 people were also injured.
On Friday (March 25) around 11:30 a.m. at a community center in the upazila, the passenger tempu overturned on the way home after being invited to a wedding ceremony.
The deceased is the son of Wahidunnabi of West Gomdandi Charkhizirpur Texghar village of Abdul Sattar Upazila. He was an employee of a fruit shop in the city.
Sanjay Sen, Deputy Assistant Community Medical Officer of Upazila Health Complex, said that at 11:55 PM, Tempu passengers Abdul Sattar, Abdul Jalil (70) of Paschim Gomdandi area, Md. Helal (35), Noor Hossain (32) and Kala Mia (48) were treated at the hospital. Meanwhile, Abdul Sattar was transferred to Chittagong Medical College (Chamek) hospital as his condition was critical.
The local village police (Chowkidar) confirmed that Abdul Sattar died on the way to Chamek Hospital. Khorshed said that the deceased will be buried in the family cemetery after the funeral prayers on Saturday afternoon.
