After 107 days, the daily detection rate of people infected with coronavirus in the country has dropped below 15 percent. Yesterday Thursday, according to the data of the Department of Health, the detection rate in 24 hours was 14.96 percent.
Earlier, the last detection rate on May 19 was 15 percent. Most of the time since then, that rate has been between 18-22 percent. And the highest was 32 percent last August 3.
It was also reported yesterday that 32 more people died in 24 hours, 2 thousand 158 people were newly diagnosed and 2 thousand 964 people recovered. In total, the identification number is 3 lakh 19 thousand 686. Among them, 4 thousand 383 people died and 213 thousand 980 people recovered.
In the last 24 hours, 14 thousand 422 samples were tested and the total number of samples tested was 15 lakh 92 thousand 38. The total detection rate considering testing is 20.8 percent, the recovery rate considering detection is 66.93 percent and the mortality rate is 1.37 percent.
Among the dead in 24 hours, 24 were men and eight were women. Among them there are 15 in Dhaka Division, seven in Chittagong, three in Sylhet, six in Rangpur and one in Mymensingh Division. 31 people died in hospital and one died at home.
