In the last 24 hours, 10 more patients have died in the corona ward of Barisal Sher-e Bangla Medical College Hospital (Shebachim).

217 patients were under treatment in corona ward till 8 am on Thursday.

Meanwhile, the detection rate in the RT PCR lab of the medical college has slightly decreased to 51.85 percent.

Sources from the director's office of the hospital said that 10 patients died in the corona ward of the medical center from 8 am on Wednesday to 8 am on Thursday.

Earlier, the PCR lab sample test report on Tuesday night showed a detection rate of 69.67 percent and Monday's report showed a maximum of 73.93 percent.
