The police recovered the bodies of three members of the same family from the Muradpur area of Kadamtali in the capital. Father and daughter about the deceased. Besides, another person was rescued in critical condition.
Sub-Inspector (SI) of Kadmatoli Police Station Abul Kalam Azad confirmed to the media that the bodies were recovered in the morning.
The deceased are Masood Rana (50), his wife Moushumi Islam (40) and daughter Jannatul (20).
It is known that Masud Rana lived in a house in Kadmatali Muradnagar area with his wife, two daughters Mehjabin and Jannatul and one daughter's son-in-law.
Shafiqul Islam, the husband of her other daughter Mehzabin Mun, has been admitted to the hospital in a critical condition.
Wari Division DC Shah Iftekhar Ahmed confirmed the truth of the incident and said that Mehzabeen is believed to have poisoned her parents, sister and her own husband. Mehzabeen has been taken into police custody. Details are being sought.
