Shalikha, Magura Representative: Promotion press briefing and seminar was held in Shalikha on Wednesday at 10 am in Upazila Parishad meeting room with the aim of skill and awareness for foreign employment.
This public awareness seminar was held with the aim of taking measures for employment abroad for 1000 skilled youth and young women in each upazila. The seminar was organized by the upazila administration and in cooperation with the Ministry of Expatriate Welfare and Foreign Employment.
Under the chairmanship of Upazila Executive Officer Md. Tanvir Rahman, Upazila Parishad Chairman Adv. Kamal Hossain, Upzella Awami League president Adv. Shyamal Kumar Dey, General Secretary of Upazila Awami League Md Arj Ali Biswas, Vice Chairman Md Rezaul Islam and Jasmine Akhtar Sabana. Heads of various departments of the upazila, UP chairman and members, heads of various educational institutions and journalists were present on the occasion. Emphasis is given to going abroad by taking appropriate training in the said seminar.
