One person died of coronavirus in Noakhali. This brings the total number of deaths in the district to 45. Apart from this, another 158 people were newly diagnosed with corona virus.

The mobile court fined 77 thousand rupees in 122 cases to various individuals and institutions of the district for violating hygiene rules and keeping shops open during the lockdown.
Noakhali District Commissioner Md Khorshed Alam Khan said that food assistance is being given to the unemployed people due to the lockdown on behalf of the administration in each upazila.
