At the same time, another 11 thousand 874 people have been diagnosed with corona in the country. This is also the highest record detected in one day.
This information was informed in a press release sent by the Department of Health on Sunday (July 11) afternoon.
Analyzing the numbers obtained from the press release, it can be seen that 230 patients died of corona in the last 24 hours in the country. Which is about 10 people every hour.
That is, every 6 minutes and 26 seconds a corona patient is dying. Analysts say that if the corona is not under control in the next one week, a more dire situation awaits.
16 thousand 419 people have died due to corona infection in the country so far. Corona has been detected in the body of 10 lakh 21 thousand 189 people.

The spokesperson of the Department of Health, Prof. Md. Robed Amin. He expressed this fear in a virtual bulletin about the corona situation on Sunday afternoon.
Due to the variant of concern of covid-19, death is not only happening to old people, but also to young people. Division wise we have seen that the spread of Covid-19 in all the districts and the infection is increasing continuously. The number of deaths is also increasing. In the last 24 hours, 70 people died in Dhaka division, 20 people died in Chittagong and 13 people in Rajshahi, 51 people died in Khulna. The detection rate is 49.87 percent in Dhaka, 18.29 percent in Chittagong, 11.04 percent in Khulna. Patient pressure is increasing in Dhaka, Chittagong and Khulna. If this continues, it will not take much time to detect 15 thousand in a day.
The infection rate across the country was very high last month. One lakh 12 thousand 718 patients were infected in June. In the first 10 days of July alone, we saw nearly one lakh patients getting infected. As we are infected, hospital beds will be empty in the next seven to 10 days if the patient pressure continues to rise. Countless beds were vacant across the country even last month, ICU beds were vacant. The number of empty beds is gradually decreasing. Only about 300 Covid-19 ICU beds are vacant across the country.
We have noticed that many people are going out except for urgent needs. If we can't control Corona within the next week, the situation will become very dire.
