There needs to be an investigation as to who attacked the Magura district BNP office. It is also necessary to investigate whether this incident is a manifestation of their internal conflict.
Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader said these things during a regular briefing at his official residence on Sunday (November 29) morning regarding the attack on the district BNP office.
Obaidul Quader said that there should be an investigation as to who attacked the BNP office in Magura district. It is also necessary to investigate whether this incident is a manifestation of their internal conflict.
He said, the criminal does not belong to any party; But if someone accused in any incident is arrested, BNP complains again and the government is repressing.
Obaidul Quader also said that BNP's democracy is Sheikh Farid in the face and brick in the armpit. It is an old practice of BNP to find various undemocratic ways to come to power without walking the path of elections.
Their misrule still haunts people, so they have lost public trust.
The government wants to prolong the rule - In reference to the statement of BNP Secretary General, Awami League General Secretary said that Awami League has come to power after being elected by people's vote. So according to the constitution, the next election will be held on time.
Therefore, the government has no desire or opportunity to prolong the rule. He said, BNP Secretary General does not see the relief of the people of the country, he sees the frightened faces of the criminals.
He also said that because Sheikh Hasina's government is a development-friendly government, people are repeatedly electing Awami League because it is advancing the country on the highway of development.
Obaidul Quader mentioned that the party president Sheikh Hasina has given instructions to quickly hold councils in the districts where the Awami League conference has not been held and the term of the committee has expired. He directed the leaders and activists to strictly follow the hygiene rules to hold the council.
Obaidul Quader said once again that identified criminals, extortionists, occupiers and communal groups cannot be taken into the party, a way must be created for the retired leaders and activists to survive and move forward in politics.
