Revising students' curriculum to improve education: Education Minister

Minister of Education Dr. Dipu Moni said that the curriculum of the students is being revised to improve the standard of education.

The government is laying emphasis on technical and ICT education along with teacher training, infrastructural development.

The Minister of Education said this in the speech of the chief guest at the inauguration ceremony of the training of master trainers for primary school teachers in English at a hotel in the capital on Sunday. Deepu Moni.

Emphasizing on teacher training, he said that students study English compulsorily in educational institutions. But many of them are weak in English. Teacher training is very important to overcome this weakness.

He also mentioned that the teacher training done by the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education and the British Council is highly commendable.

At this time, the special guest speech was given by the State Minister of Primary and Mass Education. Zakir Hossain. The Minister of State for Public Education said that the English version will be launched in a government school in every district of the country. For this, two separate English teachers will be appointed in each school.

Piloting to introduce the English version in government schools will begin soon. After that, the summary will be sent to the Prime Minister and after the Prime Minister's approval, the process will begin.

1000 primary teachers will be given special training in English through 9 PTIs (Primary Training Institutes) with the help of British Council.

1 lakh 30 thousand more will be trained on English gradually.
